AN ITALIAN IN THE HEART OF ANKARA
Bosco means “forest” in Italian, and one of our favorite fruits, forest berries, is called “frutti di bosco” in Italian. As tiramisu lovers, during our time in Rome, we found ourselves especially drawn to the forest berry version of this classic dessert. With our deep love for greenery, nature, forests, and particularly forest berry tiramisu, we couldn’t think of a more fitting name than “Bosco.”
When you spend so much time in a culture that cherishes coffee and desserts as much as the Italians do, it’s only natural to want to bring those delights wherever you go. For instance, to Ankara…
Bosco Ankara started with the idea of a floral café, inspired by many we admired across Europe. We took the first step with the café section: “Bosco Caffè e Tiramisù.” A few years later, we completed the concept with a charming caravan: “Bosco Dei Fiori.”
ALL OUR WORK IS QUALITY!
When we first envisioned Bosco, we imagined a vibrant space surrounded by greenery, a haven offering only Italian desserts and excellent coffee. A place tucked away, far from the crowd, waiting to be discovered—a unique location. Naturally, we couldn’t think of a better spot than Emek, where we spent our youth.
In our kitchen, we aimed to craft Italy’s most beloved desserts using only the finest, additive-free ingredients. At our bar, we sought to serve the highest-quality coffees. In the final months of 2016, we took the first steps to bring this dream to life. We trained under experts, conducted extensive research, and after a challenging but delightful journey, we opened our doors.
Since its opening, Bosco has transformed into a living, breathing space. With open-air cinema screenings, jazz concerts, dance events, workshops, and theater performances, it has become a vibrant hub of activity.
In a short time, we’ve seen Bosco touch the lives of many. We’re dedicated to creating a peaceful space where countless more can build beautiful memories. And so, we work tirelessly to make that dream a reality.
